Can't believe it is November already and although this week has been beautiful weather, I know winter will be smacking us like a princess kissing a frog. As I have mentioned before, I DO NOT LIKE WINTER!!!!! Let it be written -- Let it be said!!

I just have to keep thinking that what follows winter is spring....and so there is always something to look forward to. Besides for right now, I have a vacation to Kona, Hawaii coming up in December. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that nothing will hinder our plans. Looking soooooo forward to that trip and the warm tropical weather and beaches and relaxation. LOVE HAWAII.

Gracious....where has the year gone? It's mid-July and I have only blinked twice!!!! I'm loving this warm, beautiful summer, although it took awhile to get here. Summer is my favorite time of year. I love going for walks with my sweetheart and just enjoying the out-of-doors. The garden is looking pretty darn good and we are starting to get some fresh veggies, although those tomatoes don't ripen fast enough for me this time of year. Ray is improving in his health after surgery, although that seems to be slow going, but all in all....he is looking pretty good.

I got sidetracked with facebook over the past several months and haven't done anything with my blog. I would like to post a couple of photos of our delightful little great granddaughter, ZOE. She loves to smile and dance and is about 7 months old now. Although she looks rather stunned here.

It's Leaf raking time

It's been so long since I have posted anything that I am having to use those little gray cells to recall how to do it.

Have been raking leaves and raking leaves and raking more leaves - where do they all come from? And the sad thing is that my backyard tree still isn't done!!!! Wonderful Autumn! But really, the weather has been wonderful and I am enjoying it. But have to say.....NOT looking forward to Winter - don't like the snow and all the shoveling.

But life is good and life goes on.......
